Nestled in the gentle landscape of the Landseer Berge Nature Park, the business is now run by a Karl Hausensteiner in the 3rd generation. The business was opened by his grandfather in the 1960s in the classic way as a combination of inn and butcher shop. The family decided to expand and modernize the butcher shop in 2003 and it is still run this way today. The branch in Deutschkreutz was added in 2009. The master butcher is always expanding and renewing the range, the classics remain in the range. A lot has changed since we opened, but what hasn't changed is our desire to produce goods in which you can taste the handmade quality. We work with traditional recipes, techniques and fine spice mixtures to give each product a particularly delicate, tasty touch.

We put a lot of passion into our products and you can taste it. The Hausensteiner snack is very much appreciated by our customers, and the various types of liver cheese are among our absolute favorite products.

We are proud of our finished and semi-finished products that we prepare with care for our customers - soups, beef roulades, goulash, lasagne for quick home cooking at home. Made in large quantities, it simply tastes better.

Our range of grills is known in the area for its diversity and quality - from fine grilled sausages to stuffed and marinated chops to skewer variations - there is something for every taste.
