The card game Gnau or Ngau meaning Ox in English (Chinese: 牛; Cantonese: Ngau) is a card game played in Malaysia where it originated. It can be played with as many players as the number of cards allows.

Rules of the game are simple like Bacarrat, Player & Dealer, maximum players 10pax. No commission and its the fairest game, 50/50 chances for Banker and Player.

Five cards for each, one after another on the round clockwise or anti clock. Shuffle each time thoroughly.

HOW TO COUNT and COMBINE INTO A GNAU

The GNAU CARDS are count as follows:

Ace = 1 point

2,4,5,7,8,9 = respective face values

10,J,Q,K = 10

3 = 3 or 6 This is a tricky part

6 = 3 or 6

HOW TO PLAY?

the objective of the game is identify 3 of the 5 cards that is GNAU values sum up to a multiple of 10, that is 10 or 20 or 30. If a player is able to do so, he is said to have an GNAU. The other two cards show "how powerful" his BULL is. Because 3's and 6's are interchangeable, there may be more than one way to form an GNAU. The player should choose a way that makes the most powerful BULL.
