This edition corresponds to the Castilian translation of the Bible published with the title God speaks today.

In this translation it has been sought that the current reader actually receives the message that the original texts wanted to communicate. For this, a simple language has been used, which the generality of the readers of Spanish America can understand. Therefore, this translation is called «popular version». In reviewing the translation, we have tried to ensure that this purpose is fulfilled even more completely.

This Bible has been prepared by biblical scholars of diverse Christian denominations and in wide international collaboration, hoping to offer as many people as possible an objective and easily accessible help to better understand the Word of God.

The reader has the responsibility to allow that Word to produce an abundant harvest in his heart (Mt 13.3-9,18-23).
