DIY Outdoor Movie Screen Project For Labor Day

Theres no doubt about it. Labor Day is fast approaching. You can choose to do the DIY outdoor movie screen project over the weekend so youll have a chance to binge watch the entire Hexalogy right in your backyard, or you can do this project on Labor Day. Either way sounds good! But before you break out the popcorn, beers, and steaks, heres what you need to complete this awesome backyard project!

Supplies:

- Grommets 25-40

- White cloth

- Zip ties

- ABS cement

- 1 x 4-way connector

- 2 x 90-degree connectors

- 8 x T-connectors

- 4 x end caps

- 6 x 3-foot ABS

- 12 x 2-foot ABS

- Nylon rope and steaks (optional)

What are the steps?

1. Cut pipes to desired lengths.

Cut 6 pieces of pipes at 3 foot length. Cut 6 pieces of pipes, now at 2 foot length. And then sand the edges.

2. Prepare the base.

Cut another 6 pieces of 2 foot length that will serve as your base.

3. Assemble the pipes.

Connect all the pipes for the frame, with the fittings and connectors. Use a 4- way connector for the center support. Connect the base using the cut pipes. Glue all the ends together. Let them dry for around 10-12 hours.

4. Lay out the fabric.

Prepare your fabric that will serve as the screen.

Tip: The thicker the fabric, the better the reception.
