Swanand kala prasarak kendra is a kathak dance institute founded by Swati Kolle

आम्ही चालवूपुढे वारसा “

Meaning Guru (Teacher) has given us the precious gift of knowledge and we the

Shishyas (students) would replicate the knowledge further and for generations.

Keeping the same notion in mind SWANAND KALA PRASARAK KENDRA was

founded by Kathak Nritya Alankar, SWATI SANDEEP KOLLE in 2006 in Thane

(Mumbai). We are extremely glad and proud to see that our dream has come true.

Looking at the success of the Dance Institute, we have more than 600 students

learning the art form Kathak. We dedicate this achievement to our Guru as well as

our parents. With their blessings and support SWANAND KALA PRASARAK

KENDRA is standing tall and gracefully spreading the knowledge.

When we started the Kala Kendra, we were just following our Guru’s foot-steps. But

today, looking at the growth and response, only one thing comes to our mind…

“कलेचा प्रसार करी स्वानंद

मिळवी आशीर्वाद देवूनी आनंद”

Meaning, we are doing our work of spreading happiness, knowledge and

awareness of the art form; and in return we are blessed with contentment and

progress which will be with us forever
