Non-profit initiative, aimed at distributing the Word of God for smartphones.

SMS z Nieba is an evangelization initiative that has been operating since November 1, 2006, when the first of the project coordinators, Joanna Mrozik from Biała Podlaska, sent the first text messages with the Word of God and the thought of the saint to mobile phones. The initiator and originator of this work is Fr. Rafał Jarosiewicz, known for his original ideas (e.g. Mobile Confessional, Library for the Dead, Gospel on the Roofs).

Currently, messages are sent via the SMS FROM THE SKY application - downloadable, for free, in Google Play and the App Store.

There are 17 thematic groups in the application and each user can decide for himself, from the position of his phone, which of them he wants to receive content from. Messages come at scheduled times.

The earliest text message we send daily comes the thought of Fr. Rafał Jarosiewicz, which can be an inspiration for the whole day.

A fragment of the Word of God (from the readings of the day), the thought of the saint and a short commentary on the Word prepared by Fr. Rafał Jarosiewicz.
