The application needs internet to view the map, but it is not necessary to receive the coordinates and send the data via SMS.

You need the right to access the files to be able to save your location but also to temporarily save the maps to save mobile data.

A few words about our team:

The idea started in 2003 at the pan-Hellenic meeting of 4x4 clubs in Thessaloniki

The beginning was made with the local creation of a help group and evolved (through the clubs) into a nationwide one.

At the next meeting in Kavala in 2004 a site was arranged for the team at www.4wd-hellas.gr

Until now it concerned clubs but now it concerns every owner of a four-wheel drive vehicle whether he is a member of a club or not.

A voluntary effort by members of the 4x4 clubs in order to promote four-wheel drive throughout Greece and to provide FREE assistance to anyone who needs it.

Each club has appointed 2 representatives in the team and they have the obligation to help (when and if they can any owner of a four-wheel drive who needs some help).

From "detaching" if it is close to the vehicle to information about routes, accommodation or food in the area where someone is. Or even information on a roadside assistance phone in the area where the vehicle is located

Let us not forget that everyone is a volunteer and provides every help if and when they can.

But you are used to the members of the clubs always helping those who need a four-wheel drive.

So far there are representatives in many parts of Greece and can be declared as representatives of the team in areas where there are no 4x4 clubs and others.

Prerequisite will be to be a member of a voluntary organization (Rescue Team, Samaritans or a 4x4 club, etc.) and will be declared a member through this organization to avoid any for-profit efforts.

We are expecting volunteers from the rest of Greece
