Atherosclerosis, the symptoms of which manifest themselves against the background of damage to medium and large arteries due to the accumulation of cholesterol in them (which determines the cause of this disease), becomes a cause of circulatory disorders and a number of serious risks provoked by this violation. Atherosclerosis is a disease that belongs to the category of cardiovascular pathologies and often causes dangerous complications. With age, the disease provokes visible changes in the vessels - they lose elasticity, narrow as a result of plaque deposition. The treatment of atherosclerosis should be started immediately upon detection of symptoms, in order to prevent blockage of arteries, thrombosis and, as a dangerous consequence, death.
