He is Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali bin Muhammad Al Suleiman Al-Ajmi. Ahmed Al-Ajmi was born on (February 24, 1968) in the city of Khobar in Saudi Arabia. Sheikh Ahmed is married and has six children, they are Abdullah, Omar, Fatima, Maryam, Moudi and Abdul Rahman.

Sheikh Ahmad Al-Ajmi is a reciter of the Noble Qur’an with Rawiya Hafs on Asim. He is one of the most famous reciters in the Islamic world and is distinguished by good voice and beauty of recitation.

He studied primary school in Muhammadiyah School in Al-Khobar South.

He studied middle school at Al Zubair Ibn Al Awam Intermediate School in Khobar South.

He studied secondary school at Al-Khobar High School in Al-Khobar (workers city).

In 1412 AH, he obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Department of Sharia at Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University in Al-Ahsa Governorate in the Eastern Province.

He holds a master's degree from Lahore State University, Pakistan.

He obtained a doctorate degree with an excellent grade in exegesis, in a thesis entitled ((Menna Al-Ali Al-Mighty in Explaining Methods of Interpretation)).
