The purpose of writing the book

The scholars and teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including Sheikh Abd al-Rahman bin Nasser al-Saadi, took care of the book. Who was studying the book of Sheikh Muhammad bin Saleh Al-Othaymeen and urging him to memorize it. Then Sheikh Ibn Al-Uthaymeen began to teach it to people in the Great Mosque in Unaizah and explain it to them, and these councils were recorded and circulated on cassette tapes. Then some of the sheikh’s students tracked down this audio material, classified and arranged it, extracted its hadiths, and brought it out in a book. Then the sheikh reviewed it and brought out the book “Al-Sharh al-Mutti’ on Zad al-Mustaqni’.” In the introduction he described this sequence of work:

Al-Sharh Al-Mutti` and when it was widely circulated among people...Sheikhs Suleiman Aba Al-Khail and Khalid Al-Mushiqih published it in a book called “Al-Sharh Al-Mutti’ on Zad Al-Mustaqni’.” They took out its hadiths, numbered its verses, commented on it as they saw fit, and printed it in the first edition, so may God reward them well. And since the explanation by report is not equal to the explanation by editing, in terms of selecting words, editing the phrase, and assimilating the subject, it became clear that it was necessary to review the book, refine it and arrange it, and this was actually done - and praise be to God - so we deleted what was not needed, and added what was needed. The book falls into fifteen parts published by Dar Ibn al-Jawzi.
