History and biography of Mohammad Reza Shah

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi (November 25, 1980 - August 26, 1980) was the second and last king of the Pahlavi dynasty and the last king of Iran from September 16, 1980 to February 13, 1979.

During his lifetime, he wrote four books about his life and Iran, the last of which ended shortly before his death. He finally died in Egypt on August 26, 1980, at the age of 60, from lymph node cancer, and was buried in one of the most important mosques in Cairo, the Rifai Mosque.
