Hafez, who is familiar to Persian literature and Farsi poets, is well-known for foreign literatures and scholars. Goethe's keen interest in Hafez is very familiar to us in Iran. Jean-Wolfgang Goethe's critique of the world literature has been called one of the four cornerstones of world literature, and such a person with fascination and attachment to Hafez has said a lot: "O Hafiz, my wish is to be merciful of your disciples."
