Definition of diabetes

It is the chronic condition that arises when:

1- The pancreas does not make enough insulin.

2- Or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin produced.

Insulin: It is a hormone produced by the pancreas, so the body can take glucose from the blood and use it to produce the necessary energy for the body. The failure of insulin production or its failure to function raises the level of glucose in the blood and thus leads to the failure of various organs and tissues.
