As the name of the app, English for university entrance exams is an app for learning English words necessary for university entrance exams. The app has various English learning functions!

■ English word list

Total number of English words as of May 3, 2022: 1312

Learn the basic English words required for college entrance exams using the English words provided by the app. There are two types of lists: [Learning list] (list that has not been learned yet) and [Remembered list] (learned list). You can check the progress on the learning history graph! Tap each English word to hear the word itself and its example sentences!

English words will increase with updates for a while!

■ English word flash card

The app will automatically create a flashcard from your study list, so listen to it and see it to learn English words! When you're done, learn again and again with the RESET ALL button at the top of the list you remembered! The [Number of times you remembered everything] in your learning history will increase by one.

■ Learning history

You can check a list of various numerical values ​​such as the progress graph of the current English words, the learning time, how many times you have learned all of them, and the achievement rate of the daily target number of English words you have learned so far.

■ Creating your own English word book (My Word)

I think that you may learn English words other than the English word book prepared by the app, so I implemented an English word book function that you can create yourself. It is basically the same as the English word list on the app side, except that you add English words and meanings yourself. You can also test with flashcards!

■ Practice long sentences with news using VOA

This is the news that the state-run broadcast of the United States is broadcasting for English learners. The feature is that the news is composed of plain English words. The news is updated daily, although it is updated frequently by category!

■ Measuring reading speed (word count) per minute using VOA articles

Reading speed is also important when taking the exam. In this app, we have implemented a function to measure how many English words are read in one minute. The average for 1 minute will be added to the learning history. However, if you have more than 600 English words per minute, you cannot register (because few people can read it so quickly). By the way, it seems that native college students have about 450 to 500 words per minute.

■ Register the university you plan to take the exam and check the number of days left until the exam date

You can register the university or faculty you plan to take the exam. By registering, you can check the number of days until the test date. It is important to take the exam one day a day, so let's quantify the remaining days so that you can see it and study systematically every day!
