In order to further promote local leisure farms, the Vegetable Marketing Office launched the "Agritourism"-themed mobile app "Hong Kong Leisure Farm" at the end of 2014. The app has the following features.

main features

(1) Provide information on more than 130 local leisure farms in Hong Kong, including detailed information on the farm’s real-time location, activities and facilities, transportation, and farm features;

(2) Provide tourist attractions near the farm, classified by cultural relics, historic sites and natural attractions;

(3) The app provides the function of "farm tourism DIY" to design your own itinerary. Citizens can choose to visit farms in different regions and nearby attractions, and design itineraries according to their personal preferences;

(4) Exquisite "photo frame" is set up, which is convenient for visitors to take pictures at the farm; and

(5) The program also has a sharing function, allowing visitors to share joy, photos, and travel experience with relatives and friends
