1-O Referendum

You were born with the capacity to decide. Will you give that up?

This app unifies all content related to 1-O and makes voting easier.

The 1st of October is near and due to the censorship and persecution of fundamental democratic rights like freedom of speech (website blocking, requisition of posters...) and freedom of correspondence (invading privacy), we, a group of IT professionals, have decided to create an app to keep the citizens informed and warrant that everyone is able to execute their right to decide.

Functionalities:

• Access all Twitter information without being a user.

• Access the official site www.ref1oct.eu without using proxies.

• Find your polling station.

• Share a lot of graphical media (posters, brochures...) in favor of the right to decide.

• Check the referendum results once counting starts.

• Keep up-to-date about any event via the app notifications.

Also, this app based on the October 1st Referendum is open-source, so everyone can replicate it. You will find the code at GitHub (https://github.com/mosquitolabs/referendum_1o_android)
