Access_Editor (Access Editor)
Edit Microsoft Access database (.mdb .accdb files)
(Summary)
This application shows you the contents of the table created by Microsoft Access database .(.mdb files or .accdb files). And it can edit (update, add, delete) the records of the table .
The developer of this application is not responsible for any damage or loss of data that results from use of this application. Please use this application at your own risk.
I am still beginner of developing Android application. There must be some other inconveniences and bugs as well as restrictions. Please use this application carefully. If you are treating important data, please do not use this application.
This application has limitations. It can not show or edit some database files.
(restrictions,limitations)
This application can edit the database only when Access database is using the "General" sort order .
If the database is not using "General sort order", this application shows error message as follows 'unsupported collating sort order'.
To reset the sort order for an existing database, for Access 2010 that would presumably mean selecting File > Options from the Access ribbon bar, choosing "General" or "General - Legacy" for
the "New database sort order" on the "General" tab, then performing a "Compact and Repair" on the database.
This application can not edit the COMLEX_TYPE field of the table record. (for example attachment)
This application can operate only small databases. If the database is big, the speed will be very slow.
This application can not handle 'LONG' type data. 'LONG' type data is treated as Integer data.
(Usage)
You select the database and the table on the first screen. This application can display 20 records at once.
By clicking the item of the list , you can move to the screen for DELETE, or UPDATE.
