Both players shoot in alternate turns and whenever no ship is hit, the shooter gets the accumulated number of ships in the targeted row and column. Thus, you narrow the ships' positions down turn by turn.
It can be played versus a builtin algorithm or a human opponent over a Bluetooth connection to a separate device.
