Melissa and Neil Rickwood are the driving force behind Aquatics Down Under and bring together a strong combination of aquatic and management experience.

As Director of Aquatics Down Under, Melissa’s 17 years of accumulated knowledge and networking have provided her with extensive experience and contacts within the aquatic industry.

Melissa is a highly regarded industry expert qualified to provide education, guidance and assessment of Swimming Teachers and Course Presenters.

She has conducted learn to swim courses internationally and presented at numerous industry conferences through out Australia and New Zealand. Melissa is regarded as a leading aquatic educator within Australia.

Our small team of swim instructors are hand picked to provide the highest quality of swim education to our clients.

All staff hold the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming & Water Safety Qualification and additional AUSTSWIM qualifications dependent upon the specific groups they are teaching – adults, infants and preschoolers, people with disabilities.

The AUSTSWIM award is a nationally recognised qualification which is considered to be best practice within Australia.
