About Autoremove

Enjoy millions of the latest Android apps, games, music, movies, TV, books, magazines & more. Anytime, anywhere, across your devices.

Note: This app requires root as well as BusyBox.

This app automatically clears the /sdcard/Download folder at specified intervals. This is the folder which stores all files you have downloaded from your browser and usually gets cluttered over time. Do not store important files in the location if you choose to enable the app. I will not be responsible for any lost files.

For advanced users, this app uses cron.d service with config file stored at /system/etc/cron.d/crontabs/root. It WILL overwrite the file when enabled.

How to use

Simply fill in the hour and day field and click enable to run it.

If hour =1 and day = 5, it will clear the folder at 1am on the 5th of every month.

If hour = 3,16 and day = *, it will clear the folder at 3am and 4pm everyday.

If hour = 3-5 and day = *, it will clear the folder at 3am, 4am and 5am everyday.

* is a wildcard, meaning everyday or every hour.

There should be no spaces before, after and between numbers.
