Get a new Background image every day! This app downloads the "picture of the day" from wikimedia.org and sets it as your wallpaper.

Please keep in mind that this may cause costs depending on your internet service provider and WiFi settings! You can set a download limit (which is not approved to be working).

How does it work?

This app is kind of a simple "browser" which gets the link to the "picture of the day" from commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page and then downloads this image. Afterwards the image is scaled to fit your device's screen and is set as your wallpaper. To avoid any conflicts with the copyright owner of the images, please read and follow the image's license.

Permissions

- Change wallpaper: Allows the app to change your devices' wallpaper every day

- Internet and network: Allows the app to download the wallpaper

- Execute on device boot: Allows the app to download new wallpapers, even if you reboot it
