No continent supports a bigger and more varied bird population, more than 3,000 species belonging to more than 100 families are presented in this app.

This is the only app that describes all the species of birds regularly found in South America!

All bird names are included in English, Latin, and the major languages spoken in South America (Spanish, Portuguese, French) as well as in many other languages, including Japanese, Chinese, Russian, etc.

In addition to the bird descriptions and images the app presents an ornithological dictionary with thousands of special terms and their explanations (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French) as well as high-quality drawings and explanations of bird anatomy and topology in English, French, and Spanish.

The current app contains descriptions of more than 3,100 bird species. All images are contained within the app for complete offline use of the app in the field where there might be no internet connection..

This version of the app contains more than 5,000 bird images, only very few species (4) are currently without image!

The app runs completely offline, there is no need for an internet connection during usage of the app. After the installation and first start of the app, all images are downloaded into the device. Make sure you have a valid internet connection (preferably via WiFi) and enough free space to download and store the compressed images (file size approximately 580 MB).
