About Book Of Romans - King James Offline

Book of Romans in the New Testament for daily offline use

The book of Romans is written by the Apostle Paul to bring the Good News to the Gentiles as instructed by the Lord Jesus Christ. With a total of 16 chapters, the book of Romans focused on the differences between Jews and Gentiles, and a conclusion that all people are sinners whether Jews or Gentiles (Rom 3:9). God does not show favoritism (Rom 2:11).

Even though all men are worthy to die because of sins, God gave His Son, Jesus Christ as the second Adam who has the power to wash away the sins of the world.

The Apostle Paul also said that the believer’s righteousness now is found in Christ alone and not through the works or keeping all requirements of the law:

“But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:” (Rom 3:21-22 KJV).

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;" (Rom 3:23-25 KJV).

The book of Romans has some of the basic teachings pertaining to salvation of a new believer in Christ. It also contains deep and spiritual things about victorious life in the Spirit and the inseparable love of God. Among the famous Scriptures found in this book includes:

Romans 8:1-2 - "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."

Romans 8:15 - "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

Romans 8:38-39 - "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

The book of Romans is one of the most powerful books in the New Testament that empowers the works of Christ in a believer’s life.
