PLEASE NOTE: The Bowflex Max Trainer™ App requires Bluetooth Low Energy (also known BLE or Bluetooth Smart) for it to work. Android implemented Bluetooth Low Energy support in Android 4.3 (and newer revisions). Please confirm that your mobile device supports Bluetooth Low Energy and has Android 4.3 (or newer). If your device does NOT have Android 4.3+ yet – please contact your device manufacturer or carrier to find out when it will be available.

PAIRING TO YOUR MAX TRAINER™ MACHINE: Because it uses Bluetooth Low Energy the Max Trainer™ machine does not “pair” like a traditional Bluetooth device, and does not require a PIN.

1. Make sure your Max Trainer™ M5 is turned on and showing the “Welcome” screen.

2. Launch the app and touch the gray Bluetooth symbol near the top of the screen.

3. The app will prompt you to scan for, and connect to, your Max Trainer™ M5.

Your device is now connected to your Max Trainer™ M5.
