Brain Color Challenge is a fun, challenging but addicting game.

Words that are names of colors scroll from top to bottom. The word and the color of the word may or may not match. You need to click on the button corresponding to the color of the word, and not what the word reads.

e.g. If the word 'blue' is written in yellow color, then press the 'yellow' button.

You often tend to click on the word rather than the color of the word. This is known as Stroop Effect.

Why does this happen?

The words themselves have a strong influence over your ability to say the color. The interference between the different information (what the words say and the color of the words) your brain receives causes a problem. There are two theories that may explain the Stroop effect:

1. Speed of Processing Theory

2. Selective Attention Theory

3. Automaticity

4. Parallel distributed processing
