This Hindu Religious Education textbook for Class I Elementary School students is prepared based on the 2020 Learning Outcomes by paying attention to the phases.

This book is prepared based on understanding competencies in creating active, creative, innovative and enjoyable student learning. So that learning Hinduism becomes more enjoyable in order to achieve the desired competencies and create a young generation of Hindus with noble character.

This class 1 book consists of 4 chapters, namely Chapter 1 of the Ramayana Story, Chapter 2 of Hyang Widhi Wasa's Creation, Chapter 3 of Tri Kaya Parisudha, and Chapter 4 of Dainika Upasana. Each chapter is equipped with various activities such as let's sing, let's do activities, let's practice, activities with friends aimed at encouraging and stimulating students to do activities, and enriched with simple Calistung (reading, writing, arithmetic).

This book is also equipped with reflections and discussions with parents to encourage students to be closer to their parents and receive guidance in implementing Hindu religious teachings in everyday life.

Assessments or competency tests are given at the end of each chapter to test and measure students' level of mastery of knowledge, using various instruments.

The glossary contains explanations of terms used in this book to help students understand the material and bibliography. This book is also equipped with interesting pictures to motivate and instill an attitude of liking reading (literacy) in students.
