Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) for Class XII Secondary Education presented in this book contains the activities and materials needed to provide that awareness; also includes the knowledge and techniques necessary to maintain and improve physical fitness and health. As part of the 2013 Curriculum which is designed to strengthen attitudes, knowledge and skills as a whole, PJOK is not only for honing motor skills competencies, or is divided into knowledge about health and sports skills.

PJOK is a subject that contains knowledge about physical movement in sports and health factors that can influence it, concrete and abstract skills that are formed through this knowledge, as well as behavioral attitudes required in exercising and maintaining health as a unified whole. So that students are formed who are aware of physical fitness, aware of sports, and conscious of health.

The learning is designed to be activity-based regarding types of physical movement/sports and efforts to maintain health that are suitable for Class XII Secondary Education students. Activities designed to familiarize students with doing physical movement and exercising with pleasure because they are aware of the importance of maintaining fitness and health through physical movement, sports and by paying attention to the health factors that influence it. As a subject that contains elements of local content, additional material extracted from local wisdom and relevant to this subject is highly expected to be added to enrich this book.

This book describes the minimum effort that students must make to achieve the expected competencies. In accordance with the approach used in the 2013 Curriculum, students are invited to be brave enough to look for other learning resources that are available and spread widely around them. The teacher's role in increasing and adapting students' absorption capacity to the availability of activities in this book is very important. Teachers can enrich it with creations in the form of other appropriate and relevant activities originating from the social and natural environment.
