School of classical ballet and disciplines complementary with Cuban technique

The Cuban Chair of Classical Dance (CCDC) trains boys, girls and young people from the State of Veracruz and the entire Mexican Republic in the discipline of ballet.

As a school, it is an active member of the UNESCO International Dance Council through which more than 200 students have been certified to date.

It has 8 schools affiliated with its academic training project, which consists of training, developing and evaluating the performance of

students subscribed to their educational system. His teaching work has been endorsed by the Dance Chair of the National Ballet of Cuba and he also has certification in the Progressing Ballet Technique method that complements the physical development of his students.

CCDC guarantees the preparation of its students by grades so that they reach more complex technical levels during their years of study. Its fundamental objective is that its students learn the technique of ballet based on one of the best teaching methods that are currently implemented throughout the world: The Cuban School of Ballet; and that they receive certifications by grades and levels with curricular value. It creates opportunities for those who have the ability and desire to prepare to participate in national and international competitions. CCDC also prepares students interested in

apply to obtain partial or total scholarships to study in institutions of high teaching level both in the Mexican Republic and abroad. It offers within its study plan other complementary disciplines that contribute to its students having a

comprehensive preparation.

CCDC is directed by Beatriz Abreu, who graduated from the "Fernando Alonso" National Ballet School of Cuba in 2001. She is an active member of the UNESCO International Dance Council and the Mexican Society of Dance Teachers.

He has received Higher Level courses at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana, Cuba, to later study a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Havana. He has been a member of the organizing committee of the Havana International Ballet Festival.

Later she worked as a teacher of ballet and classical dance methodology in Valencia, Spain, collaborating with the Italian teacher Alex Sieff, director of Show Dance Studio and the Dancepeople Dance Portal. He was a jury of the international contest promoted by the institution itself.

He currently directs a training program for teachers in the state of Veracruz, Tabasco and the State of Mexico.

She teaches courses and master classes in various states of the Mexican Republic and is a guest teacher every year at the International Meeting of Ballet Academies in Havana.
