Cambridge Garment Industries is a family-run business dedicated to creating ready-made garments with a truly bespoke feel.Our story starts in 1958 when Haji Ismail Naviwala left his home in India to find success in Pakistan’s thriving textile trade. Young and willing to learn, he soon recognized a fundamental flaw within the industry: there were no ready-to-wear garments — instead, consumers had to purchase fabric and have them sewn together separately.Armed with the ambition to provide a better life for his family,he

went on to earn his title as the pioneer of ready-made clothing in Pakistan.In 1971, Anis Naviwala took over the business and rebranded it as Cambridge Garment Industries. Although his aim was to appeal

more to the modern-day consumer, it was important to him that his father’s core principles remained as the backbone of the company: quality stitching, the very best fabric and a dedication to customer

satisfaction. We believe that sticking to these values is that reason why we are still the finest shirt makers in Pakistan, if not Asia, to this very day.
