Ever needed an app that could assist you in making sure an icon pack was compatible with your default launcher app? Wanted to preview the icons first? Wanted to see which of your icons were not going to be themed? Wanted to extract icons from icon packs for personal use? Share favorite icons with friends and others.

Carpenter is a powerful assistant for viewing, managing and manipulating icons from your favorite Icon Packs. With Carpenter, you can do the following...

-Preview icon packs to see which apps will be themed and which ones will be missed.

-Inspect said icon pack by reviewing its icon contents, what type of icons it provides, what shapes it supports and what kind of categories it provides.

-Save icons and assets to your personal cloud!

-Extract foreground and background icons from adaptive icon sets!

-Craft your own icons from assets you've collected or from something from your gallery!

-Dynamically change adaptive icon shapes by requested shape!

-Sync your cloud across all your devices.

-Bookmark favorite icons for faster access.

-Save icon pack packages to your favorites list.

Carpenter has many security features and logic in place to protect Icon Packs on Google Play from thiefs. This app was not designed to harvest icons to redistribute them but to allow users to have access to graphical content they purchased and use the content for other personal projects other than Icon Theming on android. Use your favorite icons for shortcuts on Windows11 or custom actions in Waydroid on Linux. Use Carpenter to extract icons from your favorite icon packs to make shortcuts on Windows or Linux with Android via Subsystem.

Icons harvested, extracted and shared from Carpenter CANNOT BE RESOLD or REDISTRIBUTED to others. Icons from icon packs can only be used for personal projects and personal devices.

Carpenter is powered by Google's Firebase for data management and will require you to log in to access all of its features. Refusing to log in will limit and downgrade the experience of Carpenter. When access to the internet is limited, your feature access will also be limited. This ensures proper security of protected content.

Carpenter will not allow manually installed or side loaded icon packs to have their icons extracted.

Icon Packs must "Settle" or stay installed on your device for 1 calendar day before Carpenter is allowed to extract from them.

Icon Packs installed by Google Play, Galaxy Store and Amazon App Store are supported.

Icon Studio exported Icon Packs are limited to support.

Lawnicons by Lawnchair is currently supported.

Icon Packs built with Blueprint or Candycons library are 100% supported.
