Unlock your phone with your favorite chess move.

ChessLock is a unique screen lock that replaces traditional locking mechanisms and allows you to either program chess moves or solve mate-in-one puzzles to get past the screen lock. You can lock and unlock your mobile using one of our three different modes:

1) Sequence: program the moves of your liking starting from a traditional chess match position where white pieces move first and black pieces answer. You can program up to six half-moves. Every time you activate your phone, you will have to input the moves you programmed in order to get past the screen lock.

2) Puzzle: each time you activate your phone you will have to solve a mate-in-one puzzle in order to get past the screen lock. We have embedded a large library of puzzles so you don't get bored.

3) Famous moves: choose from a variety of moves which have bewildered chess enthusiasts and geniuses alike. Ranging from Steinitz to Firouzja, venture to the past on the shoulders of giants.

And whenever you need to deactivate the screenlock for a certain amount of time, we created a fourth mode:

4) Disable: removes any previous ChessLock mode set by the user.

For any mode set, you will have to first enter a recovery 4-digit pin password in case you forget your moves.

In order to ensure and guarantee that your phone remains locked always, every time, no matter what, the following permissions have to be granted by the user before assigning a lock mode:

1) Primary permissions:

⚫ Gallery access

2) Secondary permissions:

⚫ Accessibility service

⚫ Draw over other apps

Once you completely disable your preexisting lockscreen and allow the aforementioned permissions, you will be set for the best chess-locking-frenzy experience out there! For additional security, the lock mode you have set will activate each time you access the app.
