Bit of history of where it began.

At primary school, I remember I heard a mix tape on a Walkman, cannot remember what it's called, but liking the sound.

In the first year of secondary school, I meet Sean, we were in the same form class, and became best mates. This was when I bought my first ever tape pack, and listening to it, day and night. Even went to sleep with it on. Walking around school with my Walkman, even in class, putting the headphone cable through my sleeve, cup my hand over my ear, so teacher wouldn't see.

Bought my first decks which were belt driven in 1994, learning how to beat match. I remember when, me and my best mate Sean, used to play with the window open to the pub across the road, and people dancing whilst having a drink or cigarette outside.

Thinking we were great, but in reality, flopping all over the place.

But listening to mixes from the raves and trying and practicing, finally got there with some nice blends.

At the age of 16 I bought one of the best purchases. Technics 1210 MK2

Didn't really have a DJ name except for Hugo which was a nick name my best mate from Primary school called Scott.

The nick name of Mr Chips back in 1998, then Dj Mr Chips was born.
