The Cloister Cafe mobile app allows you to order right from your phone.

The Cloister Cafe has three major dining areas – the Garden, Dining Room and Hookah Lounge.

The predominant theme is medieval with appropriate decorations and lighting. Several original high impact stained glass windows grace the Dining Room. These were acquired from a renovated church more than 30 years ago. Gargoyles, suit of armor, swords from that same period fill in the details of atmosphere.

Our skilled kitchen staff prepares seasonal American food with exotic touches from Thailand, using only the freshest ingredients from the Union Square Greenmarket.

The menu is complemented by an ever-changing wine list with unusual value including a selection of wines by the glass.

We also accommodate large parties with special needs. Please call in advance. The Cloister management makes sure the restaurant offers the best in delicious food and ambiance. Our friendly, courteous staff is at your service.
