This application discusses about the set of notation and the definition of the member set. In mathematics, a set is usually expressed using capital letters such as A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and so on. The objects included in a set are written using curly braces and separated by commas {...}.

Any object or object within a set is called a member or element of the set and denoted by the symbol ∈. While objects that do not belong to a set are considered not members of the set and denoted by the symbol ∉.

The number of members of a set is expressed as n. If C = {2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10} then the number of members of set C is written with n (C) = 7
