Record and manage the best-before date via barcode scan.

The COSYS best-before date app gives you an insight into our best-before date software solution. Our best before date solution helps you to avoid items with an expired best before date (BBD). Simply scan the product's barcode or manually enter the best-before date to set an alarm that reminds you in good time to check the product and dispose of it if necessary. When the best before date is approaching, a price change can be made to reduce the items and draw attention to the sell-off. Our app also allows you to create a list of your goods with best before dates to keep track of your stock and reduce wastage.

As the app is a free demo, some features are limited.

Best-before date modules:

When goods are received, the article number is recorded using the barcode scanner plug-in. The expiry date and quantity can be entered either manually using the keyboard or via the calendar. The software compares the current date with the expiration date and displays the remaining days.

When the price is changed, a price reduction can also be made as part of a best-before date check or similar. This can draw attention to the short best-before date and boost sales. Label printing can also be initiated.

The article search helps when searching for articles. This allows individual best-before dates to be checked on request.
