A spatial data based app to support all stakeholders b. the dike Care

The dike App of Neuhauser dike and Entertainment Association is employed on the River Elbe to coordinate aid flows and specifically to lead to dike maintenance places where workers are still needed.

The app is for professional and support staff involved in a card base (Deich Map) for routing and for positioning ready.

The functions of the dike-app at a glance:

• A dike map with all relevant information on the dike area

• A glossary of key terms to dikes and flood protection (dyke-ABC)

• A news section with the latest news in the case of floods

• Current water levels of the Elbe

• Overview of dike care places

• possibilities for coordination of volunteers

The dike app also includes a private area, can by dike show party collect and send any damage reports. In addition, the app has been designed for the dyke guard service during times of flood.
