What is Digital NFCard?

This is an app that lets you input your contact details and store them on your phone and then share them with your friends or business partners

Digital NFCard is a brand new app and is still under development.

It's design and functionality will improve with time.

Hopefully you will find it useful.

So how does it work?

Step 1:

Add a card by clicking the floating plus (+) button on the main screen.

Step 2:

Type in your contact details as follows:

1. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn or Skype username.

Please make sure you type in only your username, without any other attributes. For example - myFbUsername, mySkypeUsername, myInstagramUsername.

Note: Do not enter links www.facebook... etc in the Username fields. You can check if you have entered the correct name with the "Check Username" buttons below the input fields.

There is no requirement for the input format for the rest of the fields.

Step 3: Once you have saved your card, you can click on it and it will lead you to the View Activity. From there you can share your card with the "Share Via" option or "App to App" option.

At the time of writing this, the current "App to App" sharing options are via Bluetooth.

In order to share via Bluetooth to another app on another device, please make sure that the second device is in "receive mode" by clicking the "receive card" floating button in the second tab.

Please also make sure your device has it's required features enabled and is discoverable.

Step 4: Establish a connection between the 2 devices following the views on the screen. Once the connection is established, the app will automatically send the selected card to the other device.

During an active connection both devices can share cards with each other. No need to disconnect and re-connect. In fact, it is recommended you avoid reconnecting.

And that is it! You have now shared your contact details, which the user on the other end can view with just 1 click of the "view" button.
