Create and share trip itineraries; customize maps and use maps offline

Trip planning is hard, but with detailed, step-by-step plans, you can travel stress-free without constantly worrying about getting lost and deciding what to do when.

DogSheep is a free and ad-free app that can help you make itineraries and customize maps.

The main idea of DogSheep is to build itineraries by customizing maps. For example, you can put stickers denoting places A, B, C on the map and then connect the places with lines. Then you annotate the places and lines with pictures, time schedules, costs, and other information. You can even attach files (such as transit schedules and tickets in pdf format), and overlay specialized maps on top of the main map (such as a conference site map provided by the organizers).

These customized maps can be shared with friends and used offline to save on mobile data charges.

The idea of DogSheep is inspired by dogs herding sheep. In our logo, the dog is sleeping because the sheep has the DogSheep app to help guide them.

Features

- download maps for offline use

- annotate maps with pictures, directions, schedule information, budget, pdf documents, photos from your device's camera, text, lines, ...

- share tours with friends or the dogsheep.com community; maps are shared as a zip file and schedules are exported as a pdf file (minimum Android KitKat) or as picture files (older Android versions)

- navigate using your device's GPS and compass

- place pictures automatically on the map using the GPS coordinates in the picture's geotag

- take map screen shots even if the screen shot area is bigger than the screen

- search for places by place name (e.g. 7-Eleven)
