e-scape is a simple-to-use (and free) app that helps you drive away (escape from) fears on the road while you travel. The app constantly alerts you about approaching locations that are marked, making use of the GPS tracking on your phone. Marked locations can be anything from speed restrictions to crossroads to accident prone areas. You can also preset the app to alert you if you are exceeding a particular speed limit.

e-scape opens in the ‘map’–mode with your current location automatically set and starts following your drive. It is also capable of running in the ‘background’–mode and provide audio alerts, in addition to the flashy signals on your phone display. The app has a simple configurator with which you can make it behave in the manner you would want it to.

e-scape is light and uses only very limited resources of your phone. It has the sync feature to retrieve updated marked locations from a crowd-sourced database. It also lets you mark and upload new locations that were probably identified by you on your travel. e-scape will verify them and update for you and fellow e-scapers.
