EarthFenders is a mobile game that will help learners understand the causes and consequences of climate change and empower them to take appropriate actions to adopt more sustainable lifestyles.

There are approximately 1 billion people threatened by climate change risks in the near future but also the same number of video gamers around the world. While the threat of climate change is immense, so is the potential of video games.

EarthFenders will educate and empower communities, including those in developing countries, to lead sustainable lifestyles. The game familiarizes players with common terminologies used in the climate change discourse and teaches them how to process their waste in an environmentally conscious manner and make eco-friendly decisions in their daily lives.

EarthFenders has been developed by GRID - Gaming Revolution for Inspiring Development, a social impact gaming studio (501c(3)) which creates mobile games to educate, engage and empower people around the world for positive behavior change.
