Escenario Radio

Institutional transmitter of the Santo Tomás University

Escenario Radio is the institutional station of the USTA where the training of producers, filmmakers and radio broadcasters, as well as the dissemination of social projection and research activities prevails. This space is used to spread the knowledge and knowledge of the Tomasian community for 11 years.

Stage began with six programs of six faculties, shy students in front of the microphones, a study, simple equipment and a master control. With Fernando Quiñones the live soccer broadcasts began, the reading continues of masterpieces of literature and inclusion within the University Radio Network of Colombia -RRUC.

Nowadays, 44 programs are broadcast, of which 40 are of spoken radio and the rest are pre-recorded, 13 faculties, eight units, ten external alliances and four spaces produced by graduates. More than 110 people 18 professors, 63 students, ten administrators, four graduates, two sound engineers and 15 external people from the university participate actively and selflessly.
