The Esztergom Castle Museum is a branch of the Hungarian National Museum in Esztergom, the birthplace of the first Hungarian King, the capital of the Árpád House Kings, head of the Hungarian Catholic Church and one of the outstanding centers of the Hungarian Renaissance. Esztergom, with its unparalleled talents, was constantly thrown into the mainstream of European movements and historical events.
