As an industrial association, Deutsche Bauchemie represents the entire construction chemical industry in Germany. The range of currently around 130 member companies ranges from small and medium-sized specialized companies to globally operating companies. With around 8.5 billion euros in annual sales and around 32,000 employees, these companies generate half of the European market volume and about a quarter of the world market. Under the umbrella of the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), Deutsche Bauchemie represents the interests of its member companies, including the German subsidiaries of foreign companies, vis-à-vis the specialist public, politics, authorities, other sectors of the economy, science and the media.
