Get geometric correction parameters for surveying

"SCALE FACTOR"

This free application is a contribution of the company Terratec SRL.

It is intended to help professionals in the field of Surveying and engineering for geometric correction parameters when carrying out any surveying with total station.

CHARACTERISTICS:

The application takes advantage of the GPS on your smartphone and current shows geodetic coordinates (Lat, Long, h) and UTM (WGS84) with the following geometric corrections: Correction scale factor correction elevation and COMBINED FACTOR, the last to be introduced in Total station (coordinates on point station).

It is suggested to place at the point or close to the total station "parked" to have more value approximate the true combined factor.

Scaling factor: that value is to project the measured length between two points in the reference ellipsoid on the mapping plane.

Weighting factor: that value is to project the length measured between two points on the ground (reduced distance to the horizon) of the reference ellipsoid.

The combined factor K, can transform the existing topographical distance between two points distance grid directly. Mathematically it is the product from between the raising factor and the scale factor.

The "Scale factor" application uses mathematical formulas Geometrical Geodesy.

several tests and comparisons with Softwares employees worldwide as the GeoMax Geo Office and LGO were performed.
