The FahrMitWaldorf app connects people with the same route and destination.

The FahrMitWaldorf app for the school community of Free Waldorf Schools connects people who have traveled the same way. Schoolchildren, teachers and parents can organize car pools here. Fast, flexible and uncomplicated. Either you offer free spaces in the car or you are looking for a ride. The app brings the two interested parties together and of course also checks whether the planned departure time is suitable for both of them. If the driver's or passenger's plans suddenly change, all participants in a booked trip are informed immediately.

With the help of this app, Free Waldorf Schools offer their respective school communities a tool with which they can actively do something to save empty car journeys, at the same time reduce the emission of CO2 and nitrogen oxides and become more independent from local public transport. A great thing, especially in rural areas!

Safety is a top priority for the participants: When registering, the MitfahrApp checks whether the person making the request belongs to the school community of the selected Waldorf school or not. All necessary data is managed in compliance with GDPR by the Hessian IT company ALL4NET GmbH, which also programmed the app.
