Scientific interpretation, or interpretation of the Qur'an with a scientific approach, is a form of interpretation used to understand the verses of the Kauniyah, the verses of cosmology, both those written in the holy book and those unfolding in nature. Scientific interpretation of scientific verses in the Qur'an is possible because the Qur'an contains not only religious knowledge, but also general sciences, including natural sciences, the forerunners of science and technology.

The Qur'an, which was revealed centuries ago, not only calls on people to read the signs of God's greatness, but also through scientific data in the universe of His creation. The Qur'an is not only aimed at Arab society during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, but also covers all mankind afterwards, including contemporary modern society with all its advanced and increasingly sophisticated civilizations. Therefore, the interpretation of this style can help confirm the truth of the Qur'an, as well as make it the moral and ethical basis for modern civilization. Interpretation from a scientific perspective allows the Qur'an to always be present in the midst of society in every age and space, every time and anywhere.
