This book is the result of several years of hard work, the completion of which was always delayed. Starting from the assignment of teaching Fiqh at the Ushuluddin Faculty of UIN Sunan Ampel, the author felt the need to compile this simple book to serve as a guide, in addition to ensuring that what the author knows and understands, there is 'written evidence'.

Considering that the 'field' of fiqh is so broad, the author chose to write fiqh about marriage, with the hope that in the future it can be continued with other material, such as fiqh of worship, muamalah, and others. Why choose marital fiqh first? One of them is because recently there have been many marriage cases that have become debated in society, such as inter-religious marriages, sirri marriages, mut'ah marriages, etc. Hopefully this simple book can make a small contribution to being a guide in responding to these various debates. At least, it is an initial capital for understanding the substance of the debate that is taking place.

As a fiqh book, this book can be used by all groups, because fiqh is related to everyday life. In this writing, the author presents as much as possible the arguments put forward by the ulama as well as the discussions and debates between them, so that the reader gets sufficient information, not only regarding the legal conclusions (fiqh products), but also how these conclusions can arise. ' ?

There is no ivory that is not cracked. Even though this book was written with all seriousness, there are certainly many shortcomings here and there. The author really hopes for input and criticism for future improvements.

Hopefully the material content of this application can be useful for self-introspection and better improvement in everyday life.
