flexo Bus

flexo - the bus that brings me flexibly. Simply request and book a ride.

flexo is a new bus service in local public transport with barrier-free minibuses in the greater Braunschweig area. At flexo there is no rigid timetable, the buses only run on request. Software bundles travel requests and creates individual travel routes. The software ensures that there is no parallel traffic with regular buses and also refers to the existing bus service.

In order to reach flexo easily and quickly, more than 200 new bus stops for flexo were created in the Braunschweig region in addition to the existing bus stops. All locations where flexo stops (existing stops and new stops) are called flexo stops.

With the flexo app, travel requests can be easily requested and booked. It is also possible to book regular trips. Simply enter your start and destination or select the nearest flexo stop on the map and request a ride. The next possible trip with flexo is displayed. If it meets your requirements, it can be booked with binding effect.

The VRB tariff applies to flexo. Tickets can be purchased at advance booking offices, from the bus driver or in the “VRB Fahrinfo & Tickets” app.

Exceptions: The collective student season ticket is only valid on school days from 4:00 p.m. The VRB short-distance ticket is not valid.

Initially, flexo started in the project areas of Wahrenholz/Wesendorf, Cremlingen/Schandelah, Hoheneggelsen/Baddeckenstedt, Seesen, Salzgitter-Bad, Salzgitter-Thiede, Lehren, Wolfsburg-Nord, Wolfsburg-Südost and Wolfsburg-Südwest.
