The Fraternal Order of Retired Border Patrol Officers (FORBPO) is a dedicated organization committed to uniting retired U.S. Border Patrol Agents and preserving the camaraderie formed during their service. Established on October 25, 1978, in Denver, Colorado, FORBPO was born out of a need to maintain the bonds and unique spirit built over years of partnership and shared experiences along the U.S. border.

FORBPO brings together retired Border Patrol officers, their spouses, and widows to foster fellowship, support, and a shared sense of identity. With no commercial or political ties, the organization is purely fraternal, focused solely on keeping alive the friendships and loyalties that otherwise might be lost over time and distance. For many members, these bonds were forged “down along the river, or perched on some sand hill,” where trust was essential and friendships ran deep.
