Franca Anna Maria Cavallotto was born in Alba on 11 January 1942. She carries with her the memory of the vineyards and hills of her homeland, deeply loving the nature that has always surrounded her. She graduated in Classics in 1966, with a thesis on Egyptology. She was a teacher in lower secondary schools, she has always pursued her profession with commitment, seeking innovation, and loving the kids who have populated her classes over the years. Married in 1968, had three children. With her family she moved in the early 80s to Albavilla, in Brianza, among the lakes, woods and mountains that fill her writings. He continued his teaching profession and began writing short stories, poems and a novel late in life. He published with the author Libri Firenze the short novel "Ciau bela cita" and the collection "Racconti Semiseri, written playing with words". In 2005 he won a literary competition organized by the "Il Melograno" association of Turin with the story for children "The crazy clock".

Today, retired from work, she still lives in Albavilla, struggling with an illness that unfortunately has taken away her speech. Her children help her to spread her works.
